Child/Teacher Ratio: 1:20
Staff: Lead Teacher, Morning Teachers, Afternoon Teachers
These children spend most of their time in what society calls "Formal Education." We tend to feel that the "Formal Education" was from infant through age 4, because of the importance of mastery during that period. Ages 5 through 12 is a "Continued education" process in which the children continue to build upon the blocks that have been previously erected. Even though the children have a more relaxed atmosphere during this stage of childcare, they still need guidance and supervision. Our caregivers will help reinforce the positive attributes of mature character and academic development. At this age we give the children the freedom of choosing their special interests such as computers, physical education in the gym or outside, a game room, a movie theater, or visiting with each other in the diner.
